    No info in any of my texts on this company. I have heard of Waltham Colonial models but I don't see any Waltham serial numbers on the movement. What is on the inside of the case?

    Thanks Ron for the ID. Further research in Shugart shows it to be an 18S 7 jewel Model #11. The only number I see is on the case and if that is the serial number the watch dates to 1888.

    If the dial's anything to go by, it looks in fairly good condition...where did you find it, Charlie? Does it have a chain to go with it?

    thanks ray ron and shangas on the inside of the dust cover is the numbers 118487 thats the only markings on the case not even a proof marking im going to try adding more case pics it really is a nice case i got it for $23.00 on ebay i was looking to re case a waltham sterling but i think i will keep this intact thanks again gang i really appreciate the help

    p.s. is there a seth thomas serial number data base ive found one for elgin , waltham , hampden but nothing for seth thomas that gives models or grades

    Something here on serial numbers. I got model no. info from my copy of Shugart after Ron set me on the right track.
