I'd say these watches are from the 1930's, considering their style. I own a Bulova from late 20's and an Elgin from late 30's: their fonts, indexes and hands are very similar to those on your pieces.
Have the cases opened and take a look at the movements: they certainly will provide further info about these watches (serial numbers, manufacture markings...).
