    I don't know.

I guess the second crown moves the inner - zodiac - bezel around. Its obviously some sort of fortune telling watch. Weird and wonderful.

If Sherry sees that she'll faint. When she comes to she may try to buy it from you.... if she isn't too woozy. That's kinda cool, and the colors work well. The 70's were interesting times, weren't they?

I think it displays "biorhythms" which were the feng shui/leylines/healing crystals cobblers prevalent at those times. They ran on different cycle times and were supposed to be instrumental in happy healthy living.

(I find that I can get the same effects from fresh bread, strong cheddar and good bitter. The advantages over biorhythms are an obviously prosperous waistline and a cheerful disposition.)

rofl! I knew I caught the faint whiff of funk! I seem to be gaining some sort of reputation here...

That looks like it was made by Mortima, a French watch company that made the Super Dat-O-Matic diver styles in the 70's. Wonderful watch!

    Hi -

Those are zodiacal signs, and the color changes are based on some sort of system that purports to point to a positive aspect, a negative aspect or a neutral aspect, coded based on the sign of the zodiac, changing over time using the date mechanism.

And while you study the watch, light up a couple of joss sticks and a reefer to get into the correct mood......
