    How fake are theese watches?

    Hi!

I have 2 watches that i think are fake, I dont know if you can see on the pictures if they are fake or not.

The first watch is an Omega, it has costelletion spelled on the front wich makes me be 99% sure its fake aswell as the fact that it says WATCMC on the back in the triangle..

Here are some pictures and Im sorry for the crappy quality..

    ImageShack Album - 3 images

Then I have a rolex, I have no idea if it is a fake or not or how to spot if it is a fake, perhaps you can help me with theese pictures.
The part where the flash hit it says "Quartz".

The Omega is a fake for sure and I'm not an expert. I believe the Rolex is fake but I don't pay much attention to Rolexes. It has a Beads of Rice type bracelet, which is an Omega style, not Rolex. The crown on the back without any other markings looks suspicious. The BOR bracelet is worth keeping, it's probably the most comfortable metal bracelet design ever. Even if the clasp is marked with Rolex obtaining an unmarked clasp is easy.

I am no expert. But if you bought them on a street corner for $25, they are Fake for sure!

    Where did you buy them?

An proper watchmaker can tell you if they are legit or not.

And btw, Rolex made quartz watches too!

Mis-spelling the model shows real attention to detail.... My Dad was a police officer back in the 60's and remembers street corner hawkers selling 'Longreens', because to spell it correctly would be fraud.

I once had a pocket calculator of the infamous brand "Shrap"...

The "Rolex" is unquestionable by just looking at the back. The Omega, well I have actually seen original watches with misspellings on the refurbished dial .
Not that I believe it is genuine...

Omega always put the triangle with their logo on the inside of the case back not the outside

    That ain't no Oysterquartz.

Unfortunately your watches represent the lowest echelon of fake watches (and fakes are pretty low anyway). Somebody with a workbench and a couple of tools has bought a crate full of clean-skin generic watches (street value $5 each) and got himself an ink stamp that says 'Rolex' and a metal stamp to match. You get the idea?
