How to tell if an eBay Hamilton has a Micro Rotor?

I'm looking on eBay for a vintage Thin o Matic with a micro rotor movement. A large portion of Thin o Matics on eBay don't have pictures of the movement, and the owners apparently don't know what's inside--or don't say, anyway. Is there a way to tell from the photos of the case whether there will be a micro rotor inside? Any other clues?

The only way to know is with pictures of the movement.

Best I've got is this, but it's just his experience and I can't vouch for it.

    Vintage Hamilton Watch Restoration: 1959 Thin-o-matic T-450

"The stainless steel case back is flat all the way across - a sure sign there's a micro-rotor movement inside."

I do believe that the Thin o matic line are all micro rotors. Many of them are one piece cases so hard to show movement. While you can assume it is a micro rotor ( of course unless changed out by someone...unlikely ), I'm always interested in whether it is a 17 ( by far most common ) or the 25 jewel version (always nice to have). That is why I like to see the movement because it is not indicated anywhere else. Actually I do have one where 25 jewel is marked on the dial. But I think this was a special lot made as an award watch.

I have a couple of Thin-o-matics - one full rotor, and one microrotor. Both are in one-piece cases. The full-rotor watch (Grade 624/ETA 2522) has a slightly domed back. The microrotor has a flat back. Hardly definitive

The reason many eBay Thin-o-matics have no movement pics is that many of the watches are in one-piece cases and the sellers are not prepared, (or capable), of opening them up. Perhaps that's a good thing in a way, as they'd likely mess them up in trying
