    "HP" watch strange

Anyone can tell me anything about this one? 33.50mm wide not including the crown. Movement looks like 28.30mm wide. I cant find any markings on the movement. I bid on it on ebay thinking maybe I would be lucky and it was a military watch (ad showed no case back photos) I guess it was a amateur mistake but still a kind of cool looking watch and only spent around 30 dollars.

The logo on the dial is for Henzi & Pfaff (HPP), makers of (at least) the Hercules brand and I would have expected to have seen one of their own movements inside yours.

    Regards.

I am not an expert on vintage watches but it appears that your watch is most probably a German watch. The words boden edelsthal on the back cover mean stainless steel. The movement appears to be an A Schild 1130 which was used by the German military in their watches.

Don't take my word for it untill you get an expert opinion. Not bad for 30 bucks!!
