I bought my prettiest vintage watch yesterday

It needs some "cares", but it works at least.

    A Dogma Prima chronograph.

I think it is about 50-60 years old.
    Cal. Landeron 4...?
38mm (no bezel, so it seems to be bigger).
    Gold plated.
Case and resets needs to be repaired.

I don't know what you think, I'm in love with it since the day I saw it in that little shop.

    Greetings from Spain.

    Antonio.

Dont think I have seen a watch being described as pretty... but I cannot disagree... very nice!

I like the fine detail on the dial... how the telemetro(?) ring intersects the min and second dials for example.

You took the back off and did not take a pic of the movement?

    Congrats on your pretty watch!

    How about a movement picture?

Very nice. I really like these 1940s-1950s chronos. Enjoy.

That's quite some pitting on the caseback. I especially like the brand name. "Dogma" is just too cool.

Looks good. I have a Landeron 149-based Gallet, but it looks nothing like your movement. I hope you find out what it is!

Does look like a Landeron 47

bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: Landeron 47

But as its been said before... parts on many of the Landeron movements are interchangeable... sometimes making exact ID hard!

    again... lovely looking watch

I have a Chronograh Suisse with about the same movement, but I'd sell it in a second to have a watch named "Dogma"
