I Chaton Remontoir levees visibles ancre 15 rubies ligne droite spiral breguet

    Good morning,

I inherited this pocket watch from my father's family and i'm looking for a trusted place in the chicago area where i can have this watch serviced. Right now i can't or don't know how to open the front of the watch. I attach some pictures to see if you guys can help me out

Side question: How much money does it normally cost to do a regular service to this type of watches?

    Hi and welcome
    Nice piece.
    Looks silver, white enamel dial.
Looks lever set (to set hands)

worth getting all serviced and cleaned for I guess $150?

I think the state that movement is in, it will cost a little more than 150$ to get it fixed.....

Extra digit. It looks as if water entered and quite a few bits need replacing. On an old movement such as this, the parts probably can't be got and have to be made. If it's just the balance spring or the mainspring, you would be luckier, if the geartrain and friction springs are gone beyond repair, you can almost forget it.

It seems like the manufacturer is Lorenz Furtwangler & Son of Furtwangler

"It seems like the manufacturer is Lorenz Furtwangler & Son of Furtwangler"

I do not think it is correct because it lacks the German silver hallmark
instead think more accurate Alcide Voumard St.-Imier, Swiss registered 10.08.1887
