Look right under the balance, to me there appears to be a trade mark stamp right underneath it. If you can get a clearer image of this I can probably tell you.

I think you are right on.
I just read the history of the maker and would like to ask you to date it if possible. I thought it was 1971-1981, but after reading this article

    I am not sure
    Thanks!

I'll do a little further research to look but I can't guarantee I can figure the date out.

Re: I need help to ID small womans swiss pocket watch

Movement made by Adolf Schild, Grenchen, Switzerland. Is there a number next to the AS in the shield? Otherwise it's a relative modern watch, around 1970 to 1975, perhaps somewhat earlier,

If you could also give the diameter of the movement, it would be easier to identify the movement caliber when digging in the Ranfft database. I think it is a wrist watch movement put into a (presumably very light) case of a ladies pocket watch.

    Something like that:

    http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-...&2uswk&AS_1790

The watch has a Swiss movement like so many made around the world, but I doubt it comes from a Swiss watchmaker.
