I think this is kinda sad

Obviously the end of a WIS , at a real knock-down price of $15 each too

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Watch-Wa...#ht_500wt_1096

Someone is going to get a real bargain.

I hope I am never in a position where a listing like that makes sense.

If I kick off, I suspect this is what the heirs will do to mine... parting it out and selling it piece by piece is something they are not likely to do or enjoy.

You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

Why no immediate buyers? The watches are free. The extras well worth the price. Dealers do not find these common old mechanicals a profitable purchase. I expect a collector will save it from dispersal.

Not surprised. It would have taken a bit of a leap of faith, (half of what's included isn't pictured, and the pictures and info that are there don't provide enough detail to know what you're getting). Instant watch collection though. I'd have jumped on it myself if it had included a watch timer...
