    Welcome Daniel,

Firstly read this with regards valuations on this forum..

    https://forums.watchuseek.com/f11/vin...les-67379.html

As for the age of the watch.. If you look here you will find some info about when those patent/brevete numbers were first used..

    Vintage Roamer Watch Site

Someone else may be able to provide more accurate dating..

    Cheers

These sell quite a lot on eBay. I would suggest a search with the sold items box ticked. Values are really very dependant upon condition as Roamer cases are often quite worn.

    As for a date - early 1950s.

Roamer watches are typically under-valued in comparison to many other brands. Collected, yet not fetching big money.

Hmm. Don't think quality is an issue, by all accounts they made decent enough products in this period. But like so many other Swiss watchmakers, they got hammered in business terms (too many of them, I suspect) and then along came quartz. Roamer turned out watches that I've always found to be pleasing to the eye. I think their cases were a bit variable, but then saying that, Jaeger LeCoultre cases of this era are absolutely rubbish and that doesn't stop people paying high prices for them. But JLC movements are of a different order, so that's where the comparison must end. Anzac's already linked to the very good vintage Roamer site, worth a snoop.

Depends on the watch. Some are fetching very good money. Particularly late 60s, early 70s dive and chronos, also, try buying an alarm in good condition.
