ID Needed: Vintage Fortis ETA 1100 Movement

I recently bought an Fortis watch from the 1940's with an ET 1100 movement and I need some help with identification of the watch. Both the dial as the movement are 'marked' with what looks like the inscription 'AR'. Is there anybody who knows to what this inscription relates to?

According to Mikrolisk results for "AR" this particular mark is simply a manufacturer's logo- registered to Vogt & Cie. SA / Fortis in 1936.

I think I found it out. Fortis was founded by two enterpreneurs- Walter Vogt and Alfred Ruefli. Maybe initials of the co-founder of the brand were at this point in the Fortis logo?
