    Hi avivalasvegas,

Judging from the style I would place this watch in the 50's. I would guess it would have one of the superb Omega bumper movements within. On account of the gold content it would have some value. How much?. Best to check completed sales in ebay to get an idea.

    Regards,

    Much appreciated James!

I couldn't find anything comparable on Ebay. The larger bumper body watches seem to fetch well over $1500. But this case would appear slightly smaller. Hoping someone on these forums has seen one like it/ owns one.

Back from a trip to Portobello road where I was told by 2 watch sellers that the watch movement was actually a mechanical movement from the 1950's and that the watch was original. They estimated its worth at approximately 750 Sterling Pounds.

Would anyone agree/ disagree? The watch goes on Ebay tomorrow

I agree with the first part. All original from the 1950's.

If either of those Portobello Road sellers were willing to pay you anywhere close to GBP750, grab it and run!

It's a nice manual-wind Omega movement in an American made 14K case. Probably a $400 to $500 watch.
