    Identifying vintage diver

    Hi,

Does anybody identify this vintage diver which popped up on a local auction site? There's not much information available about the watch, no markings, logos or whatsoever.

Never seen it before. The TV-style subseconds dial gives it a late sixties or even seventies look. One would need to see the movement to give any more definite information.

Bezel is home made, case looks to be chrome.

I wouldn't hold out much hope for it being something special inside (movement).

That said, sub dial divers are not common.

It looks like a ( quite) professional conversion. But why all the "ones" on the bezel?

Does the seller indicate the origin? Sorry, but my Finnish is non existent!

To me these are the 5 minute marks, they did not have a plain punch, so used a '1'

Good idea. Would point to a garage job. I assume they fixed the new bezel on top of the existing one.

Looking at the inside edge, I would say you are right Janne.

I am not sure if I think this is awesome or crazy. Maybe both, but probably of quite limited collector interest.

I wish I could access that Finnish auction site, but it will not let me, as I am using an Ipad.
