if i can prevent one person from buying a fraud...

    then its worth it.

Super RARE Eterna Matic Chronometer 18KYG Automatic Swiss Made Excellent | eBay

well, he's not lying. it is rare. so rare that nothing that looks like it ever left the factories of eterna. that's rare all right. he claims it's the original dial. i suppose the piece of metal may be original, but i'll be damned if the paint on the dial is.

Well, not a complete fake, then - "only" a frankenwatch. Hands of different colours too, which looks somewhat odd......

    Thanks for the warning.

there's a good chance it didn't begin its life as a chronometer either.

Oh God, this is depressing… still days to go and the fish are nibbling away, not realising that the worm is actually a turd.

Original as in unlike any other, maybe?
As a collector of vintage Rados I also get tired of seeing frankens like this.
Good karma for you posting this warning.
