    Info on Lylo Chronograph

    Hi all
I recently got this Lylo chrono on eBay.

I tried to find out some background info online about what watch company that is and came up completely empty. Does anybody have any information as to who manufactured these watches.

Thanks so much for any help you can provede.

Welcome to the forum. I can't find any information on Lylo so it is probably a small brand of the fifties using generic movements. Still, since it is a chronograph, it has a certain collectibility. I would guess that it has a Landeron movement inside, these were quite commonly used in those days.

Thanks everybody for getting back to me.

Being Swiss myself, it's mind boggling to me how many "unknown" Swiss watch brands there are. They must have marketed watches with different names in different countries, I guess. This LYLO comes from Britain.

I also got a Temporis Chrono recently on eBay, that is being replated right now - another brand I have never heard of. But at least I found out that it was made by Nouvel Fabriques LE PHARE S.A. C. BARBEZAT-BAILLOT Le Locle/La Chaux-de-Fonds.

The color on the dial is a reflection. In reality the dial is just gray.

    Cheers,
    Oliver
