Info on my Omega and Diantus De Luxe please

Hello all im new here and saying hi!!

I recently got these two watches from my grandad and was interested to the history of them. The Omega is from 1966 with a 620 cal. thats all I know, the other watch is a Diantus De Luxe which seems really old!!
Please could you guys tell me things like history/type of movements, whether they are quality watches or not and of course market value please?
    Many thanks in advance.l
    First up is the Omega.

And second is my Diantus De Luxe Antimagnetic.

Thanks guys im looking forward to the replies!!

Omegas are always, if correct, very well regarded and collected watches. But we don't do valuations in here at all. Others know more about the Omega than I do.

The Diantus is an EB 8800 by Bettlach. A very cheap but durable movement - thousands of them still going:

The Diantus is, frankly, not worth insuring from a financial viewpoint.

Please don't PM me to ask for a valuation - I won't attempt one.

    What a combo!

I have two "Diantus" watches, will put some pieces.Yours is equiped with "Betlach" movement cal. 8800. from 1960's or 1970's.Pretty cheap and simple movement for that time.

    Thanks guys.
If you dont feel comfortable giving an estimate market value thats no problem, but if not insure the Diantus how about the Omega?
    Thanks for all the help.

Ps the Diantus keeps excellent time and im not sure its even had a service, how old do you think it is?
    thanks.

There are numerous reasons why we don't give valuations (there is a sticky on this). Its simply not possible from pictures AND its against the rules of the forum.

The Diantus looks 1960's to me. Precise dating isn't possible. Bettlach did not even change the mark from 8800 on variants such as the 8802 so there's little to go on. If you intend to use the Diantus, it should be serviced as the oils will have dried out.

You have all info that you need to know that this is nice watch. Its produced in 1970's,if I see correctly first digit in serial number of the movement(its 3),cal is 620.,and has 20.microns gold plated case. There is no much else to say about this watch. If you want estimate value of this watch, use ebay.

    Regards.
