    Info on this Vacheron movt

Hey guys so a local jeweler has this vacheron for sale and I was questioning how original the movement is. I know some parts were very similar to their JLC counterparts. I stupidly didn't take a picture of the dial - but it was refinished and pretty standard for what you see with these tear-drop lug cases. Did it originally have a different regulator? Is this one worth going for or skip it?

Looks like a close relative of this one:

There are some minor differences in balance and escapement cock shape but these may well be version differences.

Case and movement looks good to me,however a re-dial on VC is a deal braker. Unless it's a real bargain, I would pass.

    Thanks!

See that one has a much nicer looking regulator!
Do you think this has been altered at all? Or simply a re-done JLC part?

Well, at that time, all VC movements were sourced from outside and most were from JLC. VC finished these ebauches themselves and over the years, may have adapted and improved details like this. Or finished the same ebauche in different grades for different watches.

    Thank you.

So it's feasible that this movement is mostly original. I guess I just have to decide if the redial is worth it then for the price.
