If you post in the Russian Forum, you will get far more info than on this forum. The Soviet/Russian watch experts live there!

Anyway, it seems to be made for export. The text Made in USSR indicates this.
It is not so old, but made before the Soviet Union broke apart, and the value is negligible.

    Hi,

You have a Molnija open face pocket watch with an 18 jewel 3602 movement. The embossed case back is one of the more popular designs, after the locomotive and 'spirit of the urals'. An image of the movement would help to date it as they got steadily less well finished as the old Soviet Union morphed into the modern Russia in the 1990's. I would hazard a guess yours is 1980's. The factory ran from late 1947 to late 2007 and so supplies are dwindling and value rising (from very little to not very much)

There is a lot of information on the internet and I will not spoil the fun by copy & paste - just google "molnija pocket watch".

Value ? Not a lot, but climbing. A check on ebay using " molni* " in jewellery & watches and set for a worldwide search will result in pages of them with prices from a few $ to Bulgarians asking $hundreds.

Some of my caseback design collection .......
