Nice little watch. So what exactly did you want to know? The movement details are here:

bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: Alpina 625

...and details on the company here:

bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: Alpina, Union Horlog?re SA, Bienne, Gen?ve, Besancon, Berlin

i guess more about the movement, if it's good ( i took it just for the looks) and with what other movements it's related... or just trivia about it :d

It is a decent but not terribly spectacular movement of its time. Alpina was not really a company but rather a conglomerate of several companies contributing under the Alpina name. As a result, you often find plenty of different movements by different makers in their watches, including Gruen (the ones who used Aegler movements when Rolex were also using them). Check Ranfft's database and you find plenty of diversity under that name.

There is an EXCELLENT article on Alpina in this months NAWCC Bulletin.
Not really a "conglomerate" but a great company, with its own design, development and manufacture.

You should read Bruce Shawkey ' s excellent article on the history of Alpina

PS: Its a lovely looking watch
