Ingraham Swiss Divers Watch from 1950ís or 1960ís

Iím trying to find a picture, marketing document, or description of the original strap for this watch. I bought this watch a few weeks ago and the seller didnít have any info for it, and I couldnít find anything online. Here are some details on it: Ingraham Skindiver Swiss watch from either the 50ís or 60ís; mechanical movement (manual wind only); non-quickset date set; on the back it only says: stainless steel, swiss made, shock protected, super waterproof, antimagnetic. Any info on the band would be much appreciated.

I don't know about Ingraham specifically but other brands like Douglas, Lucerne, Heritage, and Chateau also made "skin diver" watches like this. Maybe see what straps you can find those with. If I had to guess maybe a woven rubber or tropic type strap. Good luck

As above, try to find a NOS tropic strap or a perlon they were all the rage when this was new and either wouldn't look out of place

Without quick setting date, no jewel count and only "Shockprotected" and "Super Waterproof" (both somewhat vague terms) on the dial, I suspect it will have a pin lever movement. Which should also be loud as hell.

Correct, along with the other companies listed, they made almost exclusively pin lever movements and a lot of the designs are similar.

Ingraham were seen in the late 1960's and 1970's in US catalogs.

A search here: http://www.wishbookweb.com/ will find several similar kinds use either plastic Rally-style bands, but mostly the "woven" style Tropic band is used by most watch makers/brands.

    Cheers, Bob.
