    Inherited Accutron

My dad informed me that he had my grandfather's Accutron that he wants to give me (he knows I have a keen interest in vintage watches). I asked him to send me a photo of the caseback, but he said he's just stick it in the mail to me. So, I have no idea if it runs, the year of manufacture or whether it's gold plated or solid 10K or 14K. It's probably a Cal 218, maybe 219. Too bad the dial is stained. I like the raised hour markers and writing on the dial. It will be a nice addition to the collection as I don't have an Accutron.

Looks lovely, and the fact it's a heirloom piece makes it all the nicer! There's no shortage of Accutron enthusiasts around here in the event you have any questions after it arrives.
