    Interesting Bezel

I have been after one of these for ages, the numerals and major index marks are on the case/bezel rather than the dial.

It turned up in near mint condition, quite a surprise because the ebay photos did it no justice - my don't much either. All I have done is fit a new crystal.

Rose gold filled case, cross hair, dates to 56-57 or so and has an MST372 movement.

Many thanks to a WUS member (you know who you are) for handling the UK-only purchase of this watch for me.

That is interesting. Those numerals and index markers are somewhat vulnerable - so great that you've got one in such nice condition.Name: thumbsup.gif

They are under the crystal, so not so vulnerable. But, I was staggered by the condition - which is always nice when you don't pay overmuch.

I'll take it apart sometime and show you. Definitely part of the case/bezel - not an insert.

    Hi!

Congrats, that´s a real beauty in perfect condition! I can understand that you hunted that model for a long time.
In 1962, Rado picked up(not to use the bad word "copied" ) the idea of the inner bezel with the hour-markers on the first DiaStar, later on some other models like the NCCs and the Voyager Two, but always with markers, never with numerals. That seems to be particular.

    Best regards, Mike

    Congrats on another stunner!

Some more pics to show it off in all its glory would not be a bad thing....

    Congrats again.
