    Question Interesting watch mechanism

Swiss watch with a cylindrical trigger mechanism. It has no interim anchor between the start wheel fork and the balance. It had been produced in small qualities because it was found that the mechanism is not reliable (I found this information in an old Russian book).

Does someone know something more about this watch? Is it rare? Year of produce? Is it valuable?

    Hi Rrachkov,
You have an early ladies wristwatch with a pedestrian
quality cylinder escapement C1920 I'd say.
Not to rare and not of great value unfortunately.

Thank you very much for the information. If I decide to sell it, what is the average price of watch like this?

Check the stickey, no discussions of value allowed.

Cylinder escapement watches were invented in the early 18th century and were popular in Swiss made watches up until approximately 1900. However wrist watches with cylinder escapement movements were as late as the 1950s.
