    Italian Philier Watch

I picked up this vintage Philier watch from the local Sunday Market and was hoping someone might have a bit of information on it.
I know it is from an Italian company Eduardo Girardiello who also make a watch called a Phigied.
It is 36.5mm dia and running extremely well.
Does anyone know anything about these watches, there seems to be practically no information online.
Can anyone identify the Swiss movement and also estimate the decade of manufacture.
    Thanks in advance.

In 1923 the brand Philippe Watch was filed and recorded in the appropriate office of Naples but Patek Philippe contested the similarity with its brand then in 1947, after an agreement with the Swiss, the Italian company took the final mark Philip Watch. since 1930 this was one of the first companies to produce only wristwatches. It was taken over by Morellato in 2006 being one of the subsidiaries of Sector

Great find and great info Enrico.
So does that relate to this watch too? The dial is signed "Phillipe Watch", and the ratchet wheel has "R.W.I. Extra".
