It's a Beauvais, not a Bovet.
I received yet another (reasonably priced ;) )oddball in the mail yesterday. And after a quick clean and oil (the first I have performed on an automatic) it seems to be keeping time :) .
I have been able to find almost no information on the brand other than a tie with Mathey-Tissot at some point. The movement is a UT or UTC 36-cn which is a Seiko 7625 as far as I can discern.
The chrome case is immaculate , unfortunately after a quick polish of the crystal it seems I'll need to replace it. The watch came with what may be the original rubber strap, I'll be looking for another.

Looks great Charon, I suppose a vintage diver is just the thing for your line of work;-), you never know is someone will rock the boat and you'll end up having to swim the river Styx:-d.
