    IWC cal 89

    Dear All,

    a simple question to all of you :

    Would you think that paying 400 £ for a IWC cal 89 watch (stainless steel) is a lot of money, average or a good bargain ? - see pictureAttachment 683165

    Is the dial original?
    What is the condition of the movement?

    If the watch is complete (That means mechanically it only needs a service and no parts) it's a fair bargain.
    I normally see them in this condition for 550$-650$ hence the cost is fair. It does need work, aesthetically at least;
    Nevertheless note that in today's trends, stainless steel appears to be more sought after than the gold ones
    So not only you 'save' on the gold price, you also have an 'added value' if you need to sell it quickly.
