IWC Pocket Watch....Walked into my store

    Hello,

I bought a IWC pocket watch in my store. I own a stamp and coin store.

The movement is marked "IWC probus scafusia". Serial # 783139 H5.
Good working order. Clean, very clean. Its a 14K casing. Watch weighs in at 71g.

I know a little about watches but not pocket watches.
IWC is a great brand but I am only familiar with their wrist watches.

    Any help is appreciated.
I sent a couple emails out, but thought I would post here as well.

    Thanks

    Emil

That's a typical IWC pocket watch movement (compare to example in the link). The precise specifications will depend, among other things, on the exact size. I am sorry but we don't do valuations here - there is a sticky as to why.

A beautiful pocketwatch! IWC is a fine watchmaker. I have one myself which I bought as a souvenier in London.

Judging by the movement serial number it was made in 1922 according to DyIWC (Date your IWC).
You can download it yourself and also you can check age of the case as well by case number.
    Kind regards

    You have a nice cal. 52 - 19ligne H5 IWC watch.
    The watch dates from 1922
