    j w Benson

    Hi can any body please help me and give me information about the watch i have, it is a J W Benson watch, a silver half hunter, it has a C H hallmark on the stem, a lion a lion face and an i on the opening plate at the back, these i believe mean standard silver, london, and 1904, it has JWB too. On the mechanism it says, The Keyless Ludgate Watch. signed JW benson Patent No 4658, Best London Make. By Warrent to H.M the late queen Victoria. Ludgate Hill London.
    Any Information would be greatly appreciated as ive searched the net for hours and no match, thank you.
