I bought an interesting chronograph, Jaquet. I do have a table second watch from the brand, but apart from that, I do not know anything about the brand. Microlisk gives several Jaquets for around the the 50's, which one is this? There are Jaquet Drotz, Jaquet Girrard and Jaquet SA. I think the name logo is the clue. My money is on Jaquet SA from Genf.
The watch with steel case is obviously a quality watch, not an another private label chrono.
While I can't help with the company name (though I think all of the Jaquets are one and the same), I can tell you that it is an Excelsior Park movement. These were produced for different companies (at least Girard Perregaux, Zenith, Gallet and Certina). It's a top shelf movement. Also, you can still get a (similar) replacement dial for this model. http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/111805546405
Gallet, Zenith, Girard Perregaux... assembled identical calibers into identical cases and most of them even share the same case number series... The original manufacturer was Excelsior Park.

Re: Jaquet chronograph
Yes, I just found out earlier this morning that Jaquet Droz seemed to have similar suppliers in Gallet and Excelsior Park. Your movement is definitely an Excelsior Park EP4, an excellent column wheel caliber to say the least. Plus it looks to be in fantastic condition!
Get it serviced and wear it in good health. I've seen that eBay listing come up a couple times, so if you choose there should be another opportunity to get a NOS dial.
