    Just found this Waltham "Colonial"

Knowing nothing about pocket watches, I wanted to share this one I just found amongst my father's old stuff. The thing still works! Serial number lookup website "pocket watch database" says it from around year 1919.

Nice, but get it serviced. The regulator arm is too far towards the fast.

    Kurt2112...Hello!

A very nice Waltham. Superior quality. Easy to work on, and should run to a few seconds +/- per day.

    A 14K white gold case...?!

Nice! Gold centerwheel, raised gold jewel settings, gold balance screws with meantime screws at the end of the balance arms and at 90 degrees. Especially good to find it in its original case, since they don't fit a standard case!

I got one years ago as an orphan movement, probably stripped out of a gold case, with a broken balance staff.

It's beautiful! Nice find. Like they said though have it serviced or it won't run for long, and cause damage. Thanks for sharing!
