Just got these back from the doctor, had to share!

Was pleasantly surprised today, when I went to the repair shop to drop off some repairs, and found that these were finally fixed! So I took photos to share with you all. I know you all have seen the Zenith and Seikosha, but the GIrard Perregaux Tiffany & Co. I don't believe has been shown. This took 2 years to find all the pieces and parts. Enjoy!

    No movement pics

I assume it was the Seiko that took 2 years to find parts??

Very nice...I think the Zenith is particularly great. Congrats - two years that is a long wait...

I had to wait two years tracking down the winding stem and crown for the Tiffany, because this particular GP gyromatic has the day/date window, and needs a very specific stem. The Seikosha was just a cleaning, as was the Zenith. I will post movement photos once I get off the road.

    That Seiko is genuinely old.

    How old?

Here are movement photos of the Seiko and Zenith. I was not about to take on the task of disassembling the Tiffany to take a photo, but it is a GP Gyromatic just the same in a 14k case with Tiffany markings. Horologist007, the Seiko is a WWII era Japanese soldiers watch, I have the original leather for it as well. Name: image.jpg

Thanks joeuk, I purchased it about a month ago, and had to make a decision on either purchasing this for a song, or forking out a huge wad of cash for a stainless Patek that didn't run. I felt that even though in the long run the Patek was a better purchase, that saving up some of my money and going with the Zenith was more fiscally responsible. And I have to give a huge thank you to my watch repairman Mahlon Shetler. For being an Amish repairman, I feel that I got a great repair job, and one heck of a great price!
