Just picked up this little jewel.

I just picked up this Swiss Made watch it's a OMER I got it on the Bay for a song and a dance. I bought it because I loved the look of dial and was hoping the gold was in good shape not very good pic's. on the sellers listing but for the price it was fun to hope. The seller sells mostly vintage stuff not watches. I Googled Omer and found they made some nice watches and some were solid 9K gold. I got the watch and did some cleaning and turns out the watch is Rose Gold and in very good condition also keeping good time. I added this Hadley Roma strap to finish it off. I thought Id share some pictures.

No pic. The most common reason for this is it is too large. Try resizing it smaller or use photobucket or some other pic site to host the pic.

Well done! Omer seems to have been a brand of O'Maire inc. of New York who would have been importers of Swiss movements cased up in the US - a once common practice with many short-lived brands as a result.

One notable difference was that O'Maire had movements modified enough for them to be listed as distinct calibres. I have one (somewhere) with an O'Maire 116 movement based on a Peseux 190. See https://forums.watchuseek.com/f11/oma...ts-439921.html

Yours is in very nice condition.

Re: Just picked up this little jewel.

Thanks for all your nice comments!! The watch is all original except the Crown:( the dial is untouched and all the hour markers and hands are rose gold also. All I did was clean the case and crystal and add the strap. I hope to locate a rose gold crown. I found this link http://www.poshtime.com/bigpic2.php?id=496.197 not the same as mine but very nice and the 9K gold.

Nice catch...As stated by others - that dial really makes it.
