    Juvenia Automatic

I have the opportunity to pick up this watch. I think it's a slimatic but confirming. It's pretty clean, with the exception of the minutes hand. Does anyone know anything about it? What are your thoughts on keeping the minutes had as it vs. redoing it. I can't decide if I like the natural look, or not.

Not my sort of watch (I require a seconds hand on my watches). The movement is by ETA, something like the 2375 series without the normal central seconds.

I think that the watch is not so special, rare and valuable as to warrant keeping the minute hand like that but other may shout "FOUL!" here.....

    Does nothing for me.
    Sorry.
If I saw someone wearing it, I would think 'this guy is not interested in watches or style'
    Its a boring watch?!?

I asked about redoing the hand, not your opinion of the watch or its wearer.

I'm sure the hand can be replaced/redone. I am actually a fan of Juvenia and I like a lot of their designs, they're minimalistic and dressy but also quality. I like its sleek style, I say go for it.

A very nice watch. Juvenia put a lot of good dressy designs.

I would definitely seek a new minute hand (or new hand set) as that one does nothing for the look of the watch,.

I like the look of the watch too - clean and elegant. And I agree, replace the hands if you can get and identical set.

You could try soaking the hand in cider vinegar to remove the rust, then give it a little polish with silvo or something similar,if you can`t find a replacement set that is.

    Re: Juvenia Automatic

I think you should have that hand renewed- it's a really nice dress watch, and the rust simply ruins its looks- if it was an aged dial, then it would be good, but as the dial is in a great condition, it just seems odd as it is now.
