    Ladies Stretch Speidel band removal

I bought a 1946 Hamilton recently and though the band is nice, I would like to try the Kreisler mesh band on it. The problem is that I'm not sure how to remove the Speidel. I've searched the internet as well as youtube but to no avail. I realize this probably means it's so easy that it should be obvious!

There are probably two small tabs that you will have to bend out of the way on the backside of the attachment points before swinging a hinged portion out of position. Hope that made a little sense.

That does make sense as it's how I can attach the Kreisler band, however, the Speigel has a gold toned holder right at the center of the C by the watch band. The C wriggles a bit so it seems that is attaching it. I also don't see how to lift that up to release it. grr.

Umm, no. The idea is to keep the stretch band, not cut it off.. I could've come up with that.

Thank you again, I took a closer look and compared the attaching C hooks with the other band and see what you mean, there are two prongs like the ones that hold a jewel in place on a ring.
