    Landeron movement interchanging

These are two chronographs I've bought.

Delbana as said is not working. So I think I'll put the chronographe suisse in that delbana case. I don't know which Landeron movement they're on. Just hope they're interchangeable. My question is are they actually interchangeable?

I think they had a good price tag on and eventually if I can fix the delbana and get another case in future that would be insane.

Obviously the movements are not exactly the same, and you might have to do some fiddling to get it to work. Of course, the movement in the Delbana already looks like it was not original and is held in place using an improvised retaining ring.

Will the chronograph suisse case fit in delabana one? Any chance to judge from pictures?

Sounds like too much of a project to me. Changing movement, get another case.

As I said before, the Delbana movement is already not correctly fitting in that case, so how could anyone know whether the other movement will fit in that case from a photo. You can only try.

Is it possible to say what’s the name of the movement of delbana watch currently? And what the movement in original should be?

It sure looks like a Landeron 148/ 149 series of movement to me

I agree, but it says "BRITIX" not "DELBANA", and doesn't fit the case properly. The original movement in that case was presumably slightly larger.

    Re: Landeron movement interchanging

Well the Delbana has a Landeron 48 whereas the Chronograph Suisse is a Landeron 51. According to Ranfft, the movements have identical sizes (diameter and thickness) So you shouldn't have any problems from that point of view. Unless the Delbana has the wrong movement right now so an identically sized movement still won't fit, of course.....

After that, it's down to a question of whether the dial feet are indentical, whether the position of the pushers is identical, whether the sizes and positions of the pivots for the nads are identical....

Os landeron 48 is used on all original delbana chronograph? I understand the movement is changed on this one.
