Is it Langel 54 or else?

I found this very interesting and very good vintage watch.
The name of watch is AURORA ancre 17 jewels.
I didnt find anything under balance and didnt find anything about movement on bifun.
Hmmm ... but i found an interesting page about that letters from picture 1 (Codes for Swiss Movements [Archive] - National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors Message Board).
Can anybody tell me what kind of movement is this and year?

Nouvelle Fabrique - or New Factory - Tavannes, 54. Based on the 50. bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: Nouvelle Fabrique Tavannes 50

    Shock protection - 1950 ish??

No. That link is to the history of CYMA-Tavannes.

IIRC NFT is a different company fro the Tavannes region of Switzerland
    My new sig -----

Over the years I've collected all sorts of movements and "project" watches ... mainly inexpensive vintage pieces.

These days I've widened my gaze to include modern pieces (including quartz with analog or analog + digital displays) but with those I'm generally looking for models in solid steel cases.

There's a post from Roland in a thread you started here: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f11/new...es-298017.html

But its not much information. I'm completely ignorant of the company.

BTW, a google just found this http://www.phfactor.net/wtf/Marshall...rshall%201.pdf which is like the start of Bestfit and included a list of NFT calibres.

Nouvelle Fabrique was one of the minor movement makers in the Ebauches SA trust (like Aurore Villeret, Arogno, plus others). Note the ESA "clover leaf" shield around the company stamp. As such, it made movements for general consumption. Cyma Tavannes made movements for some others but mainly to put into their own watches. The only thing the companies share is their location.
