    Late Elgin w.w. 770 U.S. mvnt. 1963?

    Was this one actually 1963 production? Elgin closed before 1960? Last one of the free sprung?

    Elgin's Illinois plant closed in 1963.

    That appears to be a DuraBalance, one of the last movement types made there.

    Thanks for confirming. It is for sale by a fine California dealer finertimes.com. He accepted 20% discount offer from me recently for a 1958? different similar one. A member mentioned they were looking.
