Hello, I have recently stumbled upon two watches which made a really big impression on me. These are the round and black faced, LCD display watches that follow:
-the Seiko H239-5070: and
-the Omega Speedmaster LCD Quartz (very interesting read here):
I'll add to that the square Citizen Ana-Digi-Temp JG2000-59E although I think it looks a bit too gimmicky for me to be worn nowadays, and I doubt the NOS are genuine since there so are many of them:
I know very little about vintage LCD watches and wondered what I should know about them. Particularly the round faced ana-digi Seiko since I'm now on the look out for something like it. Thank you very much!
PS: I might as well throw in a quick question since I'm a newbie to servicing watches. My grand-father has given me his Zodiac Autographic watch; it's entirely original but doesn't work anymore and, although it's not that rare or valuable, I'm somehow a bit scared to lend it to a watch repairer. Would you?
