Le Jour Chronograph Estate Sale Find

I picked this up for $60. It was in a bag of other "broken" watches, which are meh. So, I was expecting it not to work. The only obvious issue is that the crown was loose in the bag. I re-inserted it, and it fired right up with a few winds. Even the stopwatch works and resets/flies back as it should. I do need to have the crown properly re-attached as it is still loose. No idea what's under the hood. I do not have the right tool to open. I really like it and am planning to keep it, though will need to let a couple of watches go to pay for servicing.

Any initial thoughts on movement type? The crown on mine is unsigned. Did Le Jour use signed crowns?

    Thanks

    Movement is likely Valjoux 7736.

Looks very nice. As noted above, LeJour often used a Valjoux 7736 in their chronographs with an hour counter. I'm more accustomed to seeing the version with a lollipop sweep hand in the case with long lugs. Crowns are not signed to my knowledge, but I don't know if that one is correct or not.

    Nice find!

As said; very probably a VJ 7736. I have seen these with different hands and bezel, not sure if all variations are original, but definitely worth a $60,-
