Looks like a nice watch from the fifties. The movement is an Adolf Schild calibre, probably Cal. 1188, which looks very much like an indirect central seconds hand adaptation of the "Wehrmachtswerk" Cal. AS 1130:

I think Leijona was a PLB brand made for thye Scandinavian market.

The maker made watches to the customers specificaton and name on the dial.

Do you have a pic of the caseback?
If no, is it in English, something like Waterproof, etc etc? Screw in caseback?

I am not sure you are allowed to post a link to Ebay?

BTW your description is false, as the WR is not over 100 meters!

Good catch. Sellers can't link to their own auctions except in the 'eBay auctions' subforum. I deleted it.

This is a watch which will cost more to service than it is likely to sell for...

I not absolutely understood you, my English not so good.

It is interesting to me to learn history of these hours, or watch factory.

    Re: leijona watches

In the US, the watch would likely cost $75 to $100 to service (clean, lubricate and regulate). But being a non-name brand with the case and dial issues it has, it is not likely to sell for near that.

One of the moderators collects such watches... but I think he is now doing much of his own service.
