    Let's see your vintage Hamiltons!

Just wanting to see some of the forum members' vintage Hammies.

Also, if you could mention any stories that you have that go along with your watch(es) that would make the thread even more interesting.

Of course I'll post mine, as it's my favorite watch at the moment. It was my grandfather's.

Here it is with the original bracelet. Don't worry, I still have it.

That enough of mine. Let's see yours!

An heirloom watch owned by my late uncle. I was given the watch by my cousin as my uncle and I had similar names. This is it as delivered on a twist-o-flex. It has been serviced and is on a black leather strap.

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

    Clean watch!

And that's a good idea, tell any stories that you have that may go along with the watch.

My grandfathers 40s 'Morgan" (at least I think its a morgan) 18k. First I remember it on his wrist as a dentist then-my grandmother wore it almost every day until she died at 102 and gave it to me on her deathbed(upon which she was glad to be leaving as all her siblings/friends were all gone)I know the re-dial is only so-so but my Gran thought it looked fine:

Maybe not what most people have in mind when talking about vintage Hamiltons, but a reminder Hamilton was part of the original calibre 11 consortium...
