Little help re-setting a stem please!

I have this Favre Leuber. The second was rubbing on the minute hand and stopping it. So removed the caseback, pressed the stem release and pulled the stem no problem. Dropped the movement out and re-seated the second and was clearing fine. Also, when the movement came out, so did this tension ring? 2 problems actually. I'm thinking this ring should seat in the lower part of the case, dial side. Not sure. Also, my stem release button doesn't push anymore so I can't get the stem to lock in. Does the ring have something to do with it or is the release another issue? Thanks! Bobby

So I decided to remove the dial. Looks like it has 2 screws which should be against a couple pins, but, the pins are broke off and it looks like the dial was glued yo the movement. I guess I can pry it off slowly and then just fix it and glue it back. Luckily its a metal dial. Lol

Sounds like someone has been at it before you, is it an India buy per chance?

No idea. Given to me by a friend! I think I'm just gonna put it up for a while. Maybe I'll find another one day and just replace what I can.
