A Little Piece of Family History

This watch was my great great grandfathers that he carried everyday. He was born in 1882 and died in 1959. It was then handed down to my great grandfather who passed in 2007. My grandfather then handed down to me for Christmas this year. I got it running and regulated. It is my only and first pocket watch and its not something that I would ever carry but still a really cool piece of family history I wanted to share with you all.

Great watch, and an even better story.

Family watches are the most treasured, congratulations on getting
this 1899 Railroad Grade B. W. Raymond grade 180 with 18,500 of them made.
I'm sure you knew that information already but I did look it up.
I eat pocket watches for breakfast lunch and dinner
I like ketchup on them sometimes and maybe some spicy brown
mustard. Sometimes I like them fried up in a Wok or
made into a panini. They are so crunchy and delicious.

Nice, I’m sure you’re going to get an opportunity to wear it sometime, nothing quite like a pocket watch and Albert to top off an outfit for a formal occasion.

Beautiful watch and story behind it. If you don't want to wear it you could get a pocketwatch desk stand for your desk/bedside table and still enjoy it.

    Sweet!

Like Matt said above, get a nice chain and a three-piece suit so you can wear it on special occasions. Don't forget the cigar.
