    Longines 1200 Admiral?

I posted this recently along with a Marvin. I have some additional concerns which were not mentioned. It is clear that the hands and crown are replacements. But now I have concerns about the dial. It seems to me that the Longines wings are not centered under the name? Also there is no Swiss at the bottom. Is it a concern that the caseback has no markings (other than "14k 1200 "and" use admiral wrench "on the sides) I see no opening anywhere for a wrench. Is it just a split stem and a crystal lift situation? My main concern is the dial. Any thoughts on these concerns? Thanks. I have a few days to initiate a return.

I tend to think that the dial has been refinished. Not only are the wings not centered correctly with respect to the logo, but both the logo and wings appear to be crooked. Of course, it can sometimes be dangerous to make conclusions like this from a photo alone, but I drew some lines on the photo to check the alignment, and they looked very uneven with respect to the 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock markers.

I've never seen a case with a pattern cut or pressed into it like that... has anyone?

@ Vespasian. Here's one that recently sold on eBay. But it also has Swiss on the dial and an engraved back.

Often termed a Florentine, or Florentined, bezel. Not uncommon and shows up on various brands and models, commonly from the 1950s to 60s/70s. It can be a very attractive design flourish.

    Here's a 1967 Accutron cal. 214 asymmetric I have with a Florentined bezel.

Thank you! I couldn't remember the term and it was driving me crazy.

Admiral wrench looks like a cap opener. Designed to grip the crystal to remove it, but can use any crystal remover

A watchmaker would know that and you can only stamp so much onto the back
