The dial looks fine to me, original and untouched Butler finish.
If you are referring to the dial being larger than the movement, many are like this. Some have square movements for round dials, and vice-versa. If the cap fits...

Have you got the whole watch or just the bits shown?
Love to see pics if you have more.

    Cheers, Bob.

thank you so much for answering! i had no patience to wait somekind of confirming on this forum and i buyed this movement+dial...and i was begining to wonder if i not made a mistake, because the watch was cheap.
The watch its at service to a watchmaker. When it will get it back from him, i will post more pictures.

My plan is to find a suitable case of Longines... with a bit of luck one used for this type of movement and from his era (1966). Thanks again!

edit - the seller told me that the original case was from gold and that was sold separetely.

It looks great! Two questions: Its that case original Longines and it was to find a suitable case? (Longines or non-Longines)

It is a stainless steel non-longines case, just what I had that would serve until a Longines case comes along.
    Three years and still waiting!
The case is marked "TK" inside a diamond, and is probably one of these, except for Kresler.

Here is my re cased Longines.. case is for a Hafis...

The original case was likely gold and I know from Longines that it was originally cased by Baume in England..

    Cheers
