Unfortunately, due to the method the html is constructed on the Longines site, it can not be translated by automatic methods. Oh well...

As best as I can tell the innovation on the Weems seems to be a bezel (inner or outer) which can be rotated to 1) provide a hack point for 'zeroing' the second hand (evidently these are non-hacking movements) and 2) to provide a minute timer ala the normal diver of today. Is this correct?
"Forever is composed of nows." - Emily Dickinson

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

I'm sorry for the language problem , what I'm preparing now will be in English.........
Talking about the Weems model , we can say :
1.In the big military aviator model (47,5mm. diameter) the inner dial is the news. Normally with normal watches the error was 30" per day. In the first serie (the pin one) the movement is a "chronometer" with special regulation and with a precision of plus/minus 3 seconds per day maximum. Practically the inner dial is giving the possibility of regulation of the second hand according to one main chronometer , all aviators together. In the second serie the movement is not a chronometer but , grace to the radio signal, is possible to regulate perfectly everyday the watch , reducing in both cases the precision up to plus/minus one second per day.
2.In the medium version and in the small version the adjustment of the watch is done using the outer bezel . Movements are 10L or 12L no chronometers.

The hack system was rejected by USN technicians as a not good system for the balance regulation .....
