Looking for any detailes on vintage JLC watch

    Hi
I posted a similar post on JLC forum two days ago, but figured out that this forum is probably more appropriate.
I'm asking your help with finding out details on the watch in the picture.
I've been told it was bought at the 40s or 50s, and was restored at JLC factory 10-20 years ago.
Does anybody familiar with this model? Do you think I should have it serviced (since it hasn't been serviced in probably more than a decade)? What do you think is the market value of something like this?
Any help would be much appreciated.Name: 1.jpg

The plating is being worn so it should be restored and for the movement if it hasn't been serviced in two decades then it should be. The forum doesn't authorize to provide valuations. It is definitely from the 50's-60's

Sorry. I probably missed the rule about valuations.
Thanks for the advice. I will have it serviced soon.
Do you happen to know which model is that?
    Thanks.

Very likely from the1950s rather than from the 1960s. The movement is a Cal. 480 or derivative:

    bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: LeCoultre 480

...the precise calibre code is probably engraved under the balance wheel. The exact model is more difficult to determine: in those days, many watches didn't have any designations other than their reference number (just a sort of jumble of letters and numbers) and obtaining that is difficult without a catalogue from that era or without the help of the manufacturer.

I feel enlightened with all that info. Just checked under the balance wheel and the calibre model engraved is indeed 480/c.
Another thing my eye caught with the loupe is the following engraving on the inner back cover of the watch: 585 guld virke 14K 5075. from that I can assume that this is a 14K case, but I don't know if the back cover is authentic as it lacks a Jaeger Lecoultre logo engraving.

    I appreciate your response. Thanks!
