    LTG ? Any ideas?

Don't know whether the letters LTG pertain to the watch case manufacturer or the gold rolled process...

These are the best photos I could capture, I'm afraid.

At the foot are the numbers 7896.

Lol! Yes indeed Bobbee is entirely correct.

    L. Tieche Gammeter was a matchmaker in Soluthurn, Switzerland. In around 1915 they were bought out by Meyer & Studeli who took over all of their trademarks including the Roamer brand.

Mayer & Studeli continued to use the trade marks of LTG and in particular in the period 1930 to 1935 ish used the LTG logo on rolled gold cases.

Given yours is rectangular in overall shape that fits the period well enough. Hard to give exact dates though as of course there are no hallmarks and around this period M&ST stopped using precious metal cases so we lose the dating evidence.

True Enrico, I was just going by the date/style, looks 1920's to me and M&S date was 1918.

Unlikely given that this is actually a trademarked symbol of M&ST and almost always found casing M&ST movements.

I've some suspicions who L Tieche was but I have no idea what the Gammeter connection was. Could well be a connection into that Gammeter. Then again trim reckons M&ST were producing cases by the mid Twenties.
