Majestime 17J Hand Wind Movement Help

Does anyone have any reference material and can identify this movement? Its a Majestime 17J Handwind "Dive" watch. It seems pretty clean, but it will not wind. It will run for a few seconds when bumped. I'm wondering if this could be an easy fix. I would like to avoid a $200 service on a $35 watch.

Certainly an interesting looking watch, kinda looks like 1970's? The movement doesn't appear to be abused, so hopefully it is an easy fix. That said, it does sound like a trip to a competent watchmaker is in order. A handwind 3-hander with day/date shouldn't be too complicated, therefore not too expensive to put straight.

That's the thing about the 'bay and other online auction houses. You see these neat old watches and start to look at them as you would a lost dog or cat, just needing a good home and a little TLC.

    It's a Parrenin x170 or similar: bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: Parrenin X170

Jules Borel has parts for it, and none are shown as out of stock, so servicing and repairing this shouldn't be an issue. The main concern will be the seals for the case, as its not much of a diver without proper seals.
